A Small Kindness

At lunch I took a walk, and stopped at Walgreens to buy Jay's Salt n' Sour chips and Always Ultra Thins. One thing explains the other, you see. Anyway, when I checked out, the cashier double bagged the Always so it wouldn't be visible as I was walking down the street. It was a small kindness, but I'm always impressed with those.

What small kindness made your day today?

Having a taller person reach for something high at the grocery store when he sees me struggling while I have items in my hand (cuz my dumb ass didn't get a cart of a basket). And he didn't even work there! :)

Haha!! I loved this post...I'm glad you got a double bag...last week I got a disgruntled employee who did to my bag of chips what she had (obviously) wanted to do to every customer who had come in that day. My chips were destroyed...so I made a casserole :) I love your blog and want to give you an award....come to my page and see! :)

That's nice! :) Just wanted to say how much I look forward to your blog. It's the very first I jump to read in the mornings and always makes me smile. Have a great one!

It is the little things. There hasn't been a small kindness today but when I do go out and someone is kind enough to hold a door open for a lady with a toddler and a stroller I just love them.

That's awesome. I love the small things.

My small thing? Finding the last bag of M&M's in a muddle of Crunch bars. Not really a kindness but when it's a bad day, M&Ms make everything better.
